Kentucky Must Pay!

A team of lawyers in Kentucky are being awarded $1 million for their role in the Supreme Court ruling that removed bans on same-sex marriage.

In 2014, U.S. District Judge John Heyburn ruled that the bans were unconstitutional. The Kentucky case, among others like the ones in Michigan, Ohio, and Tennessee, made their way to the U.S. Supreme Court, which finally legalized gay marriage.
 
So YAY for gay marriage! And a big thanks to those lawyers who fought for our rights.
