Take Hormones or You Can't Play

Schools in Nebraska are currently working on enforcing strict rules against transgender students. These guidelines are directed mainly at who were assigned male at birth but identify as female. The Schools policy proposes that in order for a trans person to be on a sports team, they would have to undergo hormone therapy for at least a year. 

Okay listen...

Just because a person is trans, does not mean they want to go through hormone treatments! It is not required for a person to alter their body in order to be transgender. The proposal would also require trans students to use the locker rooms and restrooms that correspond with the gender they were assigned at birth.

A vote on this proposal is set for next month. NSAA executive director Jim Tenopir completely agrees with this proposal "because it puts the privacy of nontransgender students first and is in line with Nebraskan values." 

Okay Mister. Here's the thing. You're living in the year 2015. Your little discriminating "Nebraskan values" are not going to be tolerated anymore. So you are going to have to get with the times my friend. Otherwise, you are in for a bumpy ride.
